Each route starts and finishes here at the caravan park, they are all loop rides.
The shorter of two loops taking in the stunning trail along the side of the forest, with forest on one side and farmland on the other – down to the Forestry Seed Hut and back up and around to Rogers Day Park. A great ride winter or summer – good shade for hot summer’s days.
A fabulous route from the Yarraman Caravan Park along a safe horse trail well off the D’Aguilar Highway and into the Yarraman State Forest. Follow the side trail with forest on one side and farm land on the other, until you get to the “Seed Hut”, then turn up into the forest and loop back around. Rogers Park Day Park has shaded seating areas and toilets. This is a great ride in winter or summer. In summer it is quite shaded so lovely and cool on those hot days.
This route takes you along the side of the forest between the forest and farm land, down past the Forestry Seed Hut, back into the forest to the Upper Yarraman Maidenwell Road. From there you loop around back into the forest before returning to camp via a different trail.
This is a great trail in summer as includes many shaded areas. You will enjoy going through Hoop Pine forest, bush and some open areas. Watch out for the wildlife basking in the sun!
